Bounty Board

Things go missing in the dungeon all the time. Some artifacts have been down there for so long that the dungeon doesn't even remember what they were to start with, only vague impressions remain. To solve this I'm introducing:

DUNGEON CRAB'S CRAB DUNGEON

BOUNTY BOARD

So yeah there's some vague memories of things I have knocking around the old thought attic and am sticking them here in the hopes that someone might stumble here and know what obscure thing I'm trying to remember.

Those able to successfully complete a bounty will win one 170g/6oz tin of Old Bay

If you think you have the bounty then leave a comment or shoot me a message on one of the social media dumpsters:

Bird site

Bot Hive

Larry Page & Sergey Brin's Pleasure Yacht

BOUNTY 1: MYSTERY CAMPAIGN WRITE UP PDF

A few years ago I stumbled on something that was called, I believe, a player campaign write up from one of the early 70s campaigns. It was a black and white scan, mostly typewritten with some player notes scribbled here and there, and contained session logs, character notes, and details like who was DM'ing what dungeon that session. The only thing I can remember for certain from it was references to the Egg of Coot à la Greyhawk and Gygax, but I have been unable to find this write up again.

Wila Games submitted this as a possible match, but alas it is not the right one.

BOUNTY 2: RED HERRING

Sometime around 2010 I was in a furniture store going out of business and browsing the strange assortment of books piled into large bins. The bounty is one of these books, which has nestled in the back of my head. It was a fantasy novel! And an anthology, I believe. From what I can recall, the framing narrative took place at an inn, where travelers gathered and exchanged stories that took place as part of the anthology. The inn, or a ship central to a running plot thread had some relation to either "red herring" or "red slipper".

At this point, I'm nearly convinced that I dreamt this.

BOUNTY 3: EGYPTOLOGY

Someone made a claim on the doppelganger Wikipedia article that I have not been able to find a source for. See [1] in here for more details. This bounty goes to anyone who can point me to somewhere that indicates that: "In Ancient Egyptian mythology, a ka was a tangible "spirit double" having the same memories and feelings as the person to whom the counterpart belongs."

Have something else weird and obscure you're looking for? Shoot me a note and what your're rewarding and I'll add it on.
